George rips 's---ty officiating' following late ejection vs. Sixers
Paul George may find his wallet a little lighter in the coming days.
The Indiana Pacers small forward ripped into the game's referees following Monday's victory over the Philadelphia 76ers, having been ejected following a scuffle with Gerald Henderson late in the fourth quarter.
"I really don’t have no respect and nothing is there for the officiating," George told Nate Taylor of IndyStar.com. "Shitty officiating job."
This isn't the first time the 26-year-old has voiced his displeasure with an official, as he's been fined four times over his career for making similar comments.
"You’ll know how I feel about the officials and tonight I really have no faith in them," George said.
George didn't limit his criticism to the game's officials, as he also took a shot at Henderson for his dirty antics throughout the contest.
"For whatever reason, he doesn’t like getting scored on by me," George said. I get this every time he’s at home."
He added: "I guess that’s where he feels confident. He’s sweet on the road, but at home is when he gets some nuts."
