Russell Westbrook wants his teammates to know he has their backs.
The Thunder point guard interrupted a question intended for Steven Adams following Sunday's Game 4 loss to the Houston Rockets, firing back at a reporter for questioning Oklahoma City's effectiveness without him.
"I don't want nobody to try to split us up," said Westbrook. "We're all on one team. We're in this together."
The Thunder have looked like a completely different team this postseason with Westbrook on the bench, posting a net rating of -40.3 when their All-NBA point guard sits.
