Kawhi questionable for playoff opener vs. Mavs
The Los Angeles Clippers listed star Kawhi Leonard as questionable for Sunday's playoff opener against the Dallas Mavericks, according to ESPN's Ohm Youngmisuk.
Leonard practiced without contact ahead of Game 1, head coach Ty Lue told Youngmisuk on Saturday.
He missed the team's last eight games due to a knee injury.
The Clippers have yet to confirm whether Leonard will be available against Luka Doncic and Co. in the first round.
Leonard averaged 34.5 points in two playoff games against the Phoenix Suns last season before going down with injury.
The two-time Finals MVP also missed the last eight games of the Clippers' 2021 postseason push with a torn ACL that cost him the entire 2021-22 campaign.
Leonard put up his most efficient season as a pro this year, averaging 23.7 points on 52.5% shooting from the field, 6.1 rebounds, and 3.6 assists.
