The trophies just keep piling up for Creighton's Doug McDermott.
McDermott was named the winner of the 2014 Naismith Trophy for Men’s College Player of the Year on Sunday and added to his impressive collection of offseason awards.
It's his third time being nominated for the award, after being named a finalist for two consecutive seasons.
He's already been named the AP Player of the year and was awarded the Wooden Award earlier this month after leading Creighton in points (26.7) and rebounds (7) per game.
His scoring and leadership also guided Creighton to a 27-8 record and a second place finish in their first season playing in the Big East.
