Kobe Bryant to star in documentary, grant access to rehab, personal and business life
For those of you who just can't get enough Kobe Bryant - and based on his jersey sales in a year in which he barely played, there are plenty of you - we have some good news.
This fall, Showtime will air a documentary on the life and career of the Los Angeles Lakers star, granting fans access to his non-basketball life that Bryant has previously played very close to the chest.
According to ESPN, the documentary will be feature-length and will be executive produced by Bryant and Gotham Chopra, who has also worked with ESPN on the 30 for 30 series.
From ESPN:
Bryant has granted the production access to his daily life and private training sessions, which will intensify next week after he returns from an anniversary trip to Europe. He has also allowed the crew to follow him to business meetings as he prepares for life after basketball.
So there you go, you'll have the chance to watch the mamba in his natural habitat. It's actually pretty interesting, given how guarded Bryant has always been.
