Avery Bradley on Boston: 'Of course this is where I want to be'
As the Boston Celtics go through a period of rebuilding, Avery Bradley's future with the franchise is clouded by uncertainty.
Bradley, who averaged 14.9 points, 3.8 rebounds, and 1.4 assists last season, will become a restricted free agent this summer, and there's yet to be much of an indication as to whether the Celtics will keep him around.
However, one thing is clear: Bradley wants to be part of the team's rebuilding process next year.
"Of course this is where I want to be," Bradley told CSN New England. "I've been in Boston for four years and I love it; I love the fans, the front office. I definitely want to be back."
But Bradley is obviously aware that he may not get his wish. After all, he's already outlasted a number of his former teammates through the rebuilding phase such as Doc Rivers, Kevin Garnett, Paul Pierce, Jamal Crawford (who was excelling as the Celtics' point guard before being traded), and Courtney Lee among others.
"I know that this is a business and things happen, things change," Bradley continued. "But I'm not worried or focused on that. I'm just trying to work on my game so that I can be even better next year."
