Report: Kings still unsure if Gay will opt out of player option

As the Sacramento Kings continue to try and woo their highest paid player into returning for another season, Rudy Gay has still yet to make a commitment.
Gay reportedly met with Kings management and ownership Tuesday and was greeted by dozens of fans at the airport, all part of a pitch to keep the 27-year-old in California's capitol.
"This is our chance to hear what he thinks and we'll be excited to do that," general manager Pete D'Alessandro told News10 about the meeting with the team and Gay.
Acquired from a trade with the Toronto Raptors in late-January, Gay averaged 20.1 points and 6.2 rebounds in 55 games with the Kings.
