Scouting Report: Bogdan Bogdanovic, SG, Serbia
Bogdan Bogdanovic: real name, no gimmicks. Bogdanovic is an intriguing late first-round pick who is likely to stay in Europe for at least one more season, providing teams with multiple picks or no obvious need with a draft-and-stash candidate.

Scouting Report
Strengths: Bogdanovic has the ideal package for an offensive shooting guard, combining a long wing span with a tight handle, good court vision and impressive 3-point range - allowing him to score in a variety of ways. He had a breakout season in the Adriatic League, averaging 14.8 points, 3.7 rebounds and 3.7 assists while leveraging his length for 1.6 steals.
Weaknesses: Despite having an ideal frame, Bogdanovic is found wanting in terms of elite athleticism. While he's not unathletic, he pales some in comparison to other wings in the class. He also turns the ball over a fair amount - nearly four times per game this year - though that could come down with further experience. The other major concern is the buyout attached to his deal with Partizan, but that's only an issue for a team looking to bring him stateside immediately.

What to Expect on Draft Day
It's unclear whether Bogdanovic intends to come to the NBA next season, or whether Partizan would be amenable to a friendly buyout if he does (NBA teams are limited in how much they can contribute). If he's not coming over, that limits his market some, and he could slide into the second round where teams are more open to be patient with international prospects. Just inside the first, he could be the target of a team with multiple picks not wanting to bring in too many rookies at once.
