Free Agency Primer: Power Forwards

When the clock strikes midnight on July 1, more than 100 NBA players will become free agents, with teams scrambling to make splashy acquisitions and improve their outlook for the 2014-15 season.
On July 10, at the end of the league's "July Moratorium," unrestricted free agents can begin officially signing with teams and restricted free agents can begin signing offer sheets, while teams are free to begin trying to work out complicated sign-and-trade deals.
It's an exciting time of year, and a few weeks of chaos will go a long way in shaping the season to come. Here are a look at the available power forwards who can hit free agency on July 1.
Early Termination Option
This group of players can choose to become unrestricted free agents by exercising an early termination option clause in their contract on or before June 30.

Player Option
This group of players can choose to become unrestricted free agents by declining a player option year on their contract on or before June 30.
Glen Davis, LAC, $1.28 million (will decline option)
Channing Frye, PHX, $6.8 million (will decline option)
Josh McRoberts, CHA, $2.77 million (will decline option)Zach Randolph, MEM, $16.5 million - Signed extension
Team Option
This group of players could become unrestricted free agents if their current team declines an option year on their contract on or before June 30.
Grant Jerrett, OKC, $816,482 option
Restricted Free Agents
This group of players will become restricted free agents on July 1 if their teams extend them qualifying offers by June 30, leaving them free to sign an offer sheet with any team. The player's current team, however, has the right to match any contract within three days. If the team does not extend a qualifying offer, the player will become an unrestricted free agent on July 1.
