Report: Magic offering 4th & 12th picks, Arron Afflalo for No. 1 or No. 2
The Orlando Magic are desperate to move up in the draft, and they're willing to part with a bundle of assets to do so.
According to Chad Ford of ESPN, the Magic are dangling a package of the fourth pick, 12th pick and shooting guard Arron Afflalo to both the Cleveland Cavaliers and Milwaukee Bucks in the hopes of netting either the first or second pick.
In offering this package, the Magic are essentially putting every asset, short of center Nikola Vucevic and guard Victor Oladipo, up for sale in order to move to the very top of the draft.
The move is likely as a result of Kansas center Joel Embiid's foot injury, which has seemingly disrupted the draft order. The Magic are said to be most interested in selecting Australian guard Dante Exum, but he may not be available if Embiid is no longer perceived as the top pick. Hence the scramble to obtain either one of the first two selections.
For the time being, Ford notes that the Cavaliers and Bucks aren't budging.
