The Milwaukee Bucks selected French wing Damien Inglis with the No. 31 overall pick in the 2014 NBA Draft on Thursday night.
Talk about length from the wing position - Inglis is huge for a three, with a 7-foot-3 wingspan and a nine-foot standing reach. It's no surprise, then, that Inglis projects as a top-tier wing defender. He can rebound and finish around the basket, too, but his jump shot needs some work to make him a true threat on the offensive end.
We're of the mind Inglis has a chance to be one of the best values in the draft at No. 31, and he gives the Bucks yet another exceptionally long defender. He and Giannis Antetokounmpo playing the wings together would be impossible for opposing offenses, and Inglis' presence ensures that defensively-challenged No. 2 pick Jabari Parker will almost always be playing with a strong defender beside him.
