The Milwaukee Bucks selected LSU power forward Johnny O'Bryant with the No. 36 overall pick in the 2014 NBA Draft on Thursday night.
Size and interior scoring aren't normally assets a team can acquire this late, but O'Bryant should provide both. At 250-pounds, O'Bryant is your standard-issue power forward type, a physical player who spends most of his time banging in the paint. Teams looking for a stretch four would have looked elsewhere and O'Bryant probably isn't a good enough athlete to handle quicker fours, but there aren't many names left with as obvious an NBA attribute as O'Bryant's size or interior polish.
The Bucks will need to help O'Bryant keep his focus, something that has been a problem for him in the past. He has all the physical tools to be a contributor at the next level.
