Report: Suns give draft promise to T.J. Warren
Flush with multiple first-round picks, the Phoenix Suns have reportedly earmarked one for N.C. State's T.J. Warren.
Yahoo Sports' Mark J. Spears notes the Suns' promise to Warren in his latest mock draft. Warren has been invited to the green room, which only hosts those expected to merit a lottery pick, and the Suns have the 14th, 18th and 27th picks.
With three picks in hand, it would be a surprise to see the Suns not land Warren, who averaged 24.9 points, 7.1 rebounds and 1.1 assists per game at N.C. State last season.
However, Warren does lack the one requisite skill of every Suns player - the ability to shoot three-pointers. Warren connected on a paltry 26.7 percent of his triples last season.
