Teams have lined up around the block to get a chance to woo LeBron James, but he's proven elusive thus far.
Perhaps the news isn't much of a surprise. Not only did the Heat move assets around to draft LeBron-approved point guard Shabazz Napier, the team's two other stars - forward Chris Bosh and guard Dwyane Wade - are reportedly willing to take major paycuts to create cap room for a revamped roster.
However, generational talents like LeBron rarely hit the open market, and as long as they're technically available, teams will always hold the door open for a potential signing. He's only a two-time champion and four-time MVP in the prime of his career.
