Charlotte Hornets general manager Rich Cho announced Wednesday that the team extended an offer sheet to restricted free agent Gordon Hayward.
The team did not disclose terms of the deal, though an earlier report suggests it's a four-year, $63 million max offer sheet.
Hayward averaged career highs last season with the Utah Jazz, posting 16.2 points, 5.2 assists, and 5.1 rebounds in 36.4 minutes.
According to Yahoo Sports' Adrian Wojnarowski, the Jazz will match Hayward's offer sheet, but may take the full three days to notify the Hornets.
