It is a franchise-changing day for the Cleveland Cavaliers.
Hours after prodigal son LeBron James announced his plan to return to his hometown team, the Cavaliers were reportedly hard at work clearing extra cap space to accommodate his incoming salary and make space for any new players interested in riding with the king.
Sources say Cavs in midst of making moves to create extra cap space to give LeBron his max and close to dealing Alonzo Gee to New Orleans

Alonzo Gee made 65 appearances for the Cavaliers last season, averaging four points spread over 15.7 minutes per game. The addition of James means there are less minutes to go around on the wing for the Cavs, and Gee's contract is set to pay him $3.5-million next season.
