Oh, what could have been for the Houston Rockets.
On Wednesday, it appeared the Houston Rockets would soon be introducing Chris Bosh and Chandler Parsons into the fold, but just days later, the pair were inking deals somewhere else.
Bosh re-upped for a reported five-year, $118 million deal with the Miami Heat, leading the Rockets to not match the offer sheet extended to Parsons, allowing him to sign a three-year, $46 million contract with the Dallas Mavericks.
ESPN's Marc Stein details how the domino's fell after Bosh's decision.

Houston signed Trevor Ariza to a much more team friendly, four-year, $32 million deal in response to Bosh and Parson's decisions.
As we just discussed on @SportsCenter, Rockets didn't match on C-Parsons because they wanted flexibility to keep chasing starry targets
