The Chicago Bulls made their signing of free-agent forward Pau Gasol official Friday, introducing him at a press conference immediately following the introduction of incoming Euroleague star Nikola Mirotic.
Gasol, who signed for three years and $22 million, said his reason for choosing Chicago over other teams that had offered him more money, was that he believes the Bulls are ready to win a championship right away.
"It's an honor," the 34-year-old Spaniard said of joining the Bulls. "m proud to be part of an organization where so many great people have contributed."
