Steph Curry expects full team back, 'There's a reason that we haven't made the trade'

With the latest reports indicating that the Minnesota Timberwolves are really only negotiating with the Cleveland Cavaliers when it comes to Kevin Love, the Golden State Warriors' reluctance to include Klay Thompson in a deal appears to have ended their pursuit of the All-Star power forward.
That's just fine with the team's star, however, as Steph Curry expects the same Warriors' roster back for 2014-15 and sounds more than fine with that reality. Here's Curry, via CBS Sports:
It's a good thing that guys are wanted around the league and those conversations are happening. But there's a reason that we haven't made the trade, and I'm pretty sure guys are pretty confident in that and ready to come back to training camp ready to go.
...
Those talks probably will still be going on while we're playing here and even while we're overseas before training camp. But at this point, I expect the same team to be back. We were a great team last year. We took the Clippers to a Game 7 on the road in the last two minutes and weren't 100 percent, so hopefully we can be healthy and be a better team next year.
While the insistence on a Love deal without Thompson continues to confuse - especially with Thompson reportedly seeking a maximum extension - there's something to be said for roster stability and keeping your star happy, we suppose.
Of course, Curry could just be speculating like the rest of us.
