Milos Teodosic has been one of the stars for Serbia through the team's surprising run to the FIBA World Cup final, and many maintain that the 6'5" guard is NBA-ready, but convincing him to leave Europe for the Association will be no easy task, according to ESPN's Marc Stein.

Dejan Bodiroga is a Serbian basketball legend and was one of the best European players of his generation, but the forward retired in 2007 having never made the jump to the NBA.

Teodosic, who is averaging 14.0 points, 4.1 assists, 2.4 rebounds and 1.0 steals through eight games at the World Cup while shooting 55 percent from the field and nearly 49 percent from three-point territory, took home VTB playoffs MVP honors this year by leading CSKA Moscow to the title.

The 27-year-old also has a Euroleague MVP and European Player of the Year award to his name from his time with Olympiacos.

Teodosic would have been a good fit in Memphis last season, as the Grizzlies could have used his shooting and ball handling.
