The Philadelphia 76ers have reportedly parted ways with last season's D-League sensation Pierre Jackson, according to ESPN's Marc Stein.
The team signed Jackson in July despite a ruptured Achilles tendon he suffered in summer league, and reportedly gave him enough guaranteed money to compensate for his lost season as he rehabs from the massive injury.
Jackson made headlines throughout last season with his total dominance of the NBA's D-League, which included him scoring a record 58 points in a single game. He averaged 29.1 points per game on the season.
