Bulls' Rose sits out Thursday vs. Knicks, could miss Friday vs. Grizzlies

Chicago Bulls point guard Derrick Rose missed Thursday's game against the New York Knicks due to illness, and he may not be available for Chicago's next game, either.

Rose will not travel with the team to Memphis for Friday's game against the Grizzlies, although he hasn't been ruled out yet.

Since missing eight of Chicago's first 13 games with minor ankle and hamstring injuries, Rose had suited up for 11 straight games. Rose has averaged 16.8 points, 5.1 assists and 3.3 rebounds through 16 games for the 15-9 Bulls.
