Timberwolves' Pekovic likely to go to D-League before NBA return

It's been a slow climb back from wrist and ankle injuries for Minnesota Timberwolves center Nikola Pekovic.

Saunders added that Ricky Rubio will not see minor league action because, unlike Pekovic, the point guard's injury is not chronic.
