Westbrook's triple-double, career-high 17 assists lead Thunder over Warriors
A night after being blown out by the Houston Rockets, Russell Westbrook and the Oklahoma City Thunder responded by snapping the league-leading Warriors' eight-game winning streak, handing Golden State only its sixth loss of the season.

Westbrook recorded a career-high 17 assists and matched a career-high with 15 rebounds as part of his first triple-double of the season, which included 17 points.
Westbrook, who also added four steals, only turned the ball over three times as he dazzled with his playmaking ability.
Kevin Durant was nearly as impressive, pouring in 36 points on a ridiculously efficient 14-of-18 (77.8 percent) shooting, while Serge Ibaka added 27 points and eight rebounds and Dion Waiters chipped in with 21 points off the bench.
It was Oklahoma City's first victory over Golden State in four tries already this season, as the two Western Conference powers wrapped up their season series three months before the end of the campaign.
The Warriors led what looked like a close contest midway through the second quarter, but the Thunder closed the first half on a 34-19 run and never relinquished the lead in a game that saw them shoot 52 percent from the field and 45 percent from 3-point range.
OKC still has work to do to climb back into the Western Conference playoff picture, but if Westbrook and Durant remain healthy, the Thunder won't lose many games with those two superstars playing anywhere near their peak levels.
Klay Thompson led the way for the Warriors with 32 points, while Marreese Speights continued his solid play as a starter, posting 20 points, seven rebounds, four assists and a steal.
The Warriors, who remain atop the overall standings by only a half-game ahead of the Atlanta Hawks, rested Andrew Bogut and Andre Iguodala.
