VIDEO: Jarvis Threatt tops Thanasis Antetokounmpo in D-League Dunk Contest
Zach LaVine wasn't the only one spending his NBA All-Star Weekend trying to build a following with a ridiculous aerial assault.
At halftime of Sunday's D-League All-Star Game, four prospective NBA players took part in their own dunk contest, one that's outperformed the NBA edition at times. Names like Brent Petway, James White and Tony Mitchell have been crowned champions in the past, and Sunday it was Jarvis Threatt's turn to etch his name in dunk contest lore.

Competing against Dallas Mavericks affiliate player Eric Griffin, Kevin Olekaibe, Ra'shad James and New York Knicks prospect Thanasis Antetokounmpo, Threatt clinched the title with a final dunk that even LaVine would give daps for.
Threatt took a self-alley-oop and delivered a ridiculous between-the-legs jam, a feat made all the more incredible given that he's 6-foot-2.
Threatt may have won the title but it was Antetokounmpo, the younger brother of Milwaukee Bucks sophomore and NBA Slam Dunk Contest participant Giannis Antetokounmpo, who may have had the afternoon's best dunk.
With his brother watching courtside, the elder Antetokounmpo drove baseline for a near-540-degree jam that would make "Mr. 360" Victor Oladipo blush.
The D-League Three-Point Contest also took place Saturday, which was won by Jarrell Eddie of the Austin Spurs. Eddie had brief stints with multiple teams during the offseason and preseason, and the Virginia Tech product's victory - and his 43.1 percent mark from long range on the season - could catch the attention of teams needing shooting in the coming weeks.
It has to be disappointing for the Curry family that Seth Curry was unable to follow in big brother Steph Curry's footsteps from Saturday, as Seth Curry, Vander Blue, Shane Gibson, D.J. Seeley and David Wear came up short against Eddie.
