VIDEO: Lowry and Nowitzki trade ultra-rare dunks

Strange things happen in the All-Star Game.
Dirk Nowitzki got the Western Conference All-Stars on their feet Sunday, throwing down what many are speculating may ultimately be the final alley-oop of his storied career.
In the second quarter, Nowitzki finished an alley-oop dish from Steph Curry, and then celebrated it like only the 7-foot German - okay, and Vince Carter circa 2000 - can.
That dunk was just the second on the season for the 36-year-old Nowitzki and just the 10th alley-oop of his career, which sounds rare until Kyle Lowry's All-Star feat is examined.
For the first time all season and the first time since the 2007-08 season, the 6-foot Lowry threw down - and it was a put-back jam, no less.
It's a magical night in New York.
