Report: Nets reach deal with Thomas Robinson
T-Rob appears to be Brooklyn-bound.
The Brooklyn Nets have reached an agreement with forward Thomas Robinson on Monday, according to Yahoo Sports' Adrian Wojnarowski.
The No. 5 pick in the 2012 draft accepted a buyout from the Denver Nuggets on Sunday, three days after he was traded by the Portland Trail Blazers in the Arron Afflalo deal.
Robinson tweeted out his happiness about the move Monday.
The Nets will be Robinson's fourth NBA stop in three seasons. The Kansas product was projected by some to become a starting power forward, but he has partly suffered from inconsistent playing time. He may get a chance in Brooklyn, with Kevin Garnett gone and Mirza Teletovic done for the season.
Robinson averaged 3.6 points and 4.2 rebounds this season in 12.2 minutes a game with the Blazers, but put up a 15-point, 16-rebound effort against the Milwaukee Bucks in December, on a night when he played 29 minutes.
