Harden was in MVP form again Monday, compiling a triple-double with more than half the fourth quarter remaining. He finished with 31 points, 11 rebounds and 10 assists to record his fourth career triple-double and second of the season.
The NBA's leading scorer shot 5-of-11 from long range and nailed 12-of-15 shots from the charity stripe to help the Houston Rockets down the Minnesota Timberwolves, 113-102.
Harden sealed the deal by nailing a 3-pointer with 1:32 remaining to put the Rockets up nine.
It marked the third consecutive game Harden has taken double-digit attempts from the free-throw line. He entered the night averaging a league-best 9.4 attempts per game.
Houston won its second consecutive contest and sits three games back of the Memphis Grizzlies for first place in the Southwest Division.
