Curry makes charity stop at White House, has brief meeting with Obama

Stephen Curry had a pretty productive visit to Washington. On Tuesday night, he returned from a one-game absence to drop 32 points in a Golden State Warriors' win over the Wizards. 

Then on Wednesday morning, he stopped by the White House in a pre-planned presentation for President Barack Obama's global malaria strategy, an effort to wipe out the still-deadly disease. Curry has been involved with malaria charities since college and, in 2013, he traveled to Tanzania to help distribute 38,000 bed nets, a key component to fighting the illness in third-world countries.

Following a presentation in the White House, the point guard got a six-minute meeting with Obama, who is apparently a big fan of Curry. While no pictures of the meeting were immediately released, Steph did get a shot of himself with the First Dogs.

Curry disclosed afterwards what was discussed in the high-level meeting at one of the world's most important addresses: Draymond Green and Steve Kerr.

Simmons also reports that Curry presented Obama with some Under Armour shoes and the two made tentative plans to play golf this summer.
