Report: Bulls showing interest in Robinson, James, Pargo
The Chicago Bulls are looking for outside help in an effort to replace injured point guard Derrick Rose.
Bracing a long term and potential season-ending knee injury to Rose, the Bulls have had preliminary discussions with the representatives of Nate Robinson, Mike James and Jannero Pargo, according to K.C. Johnson of the Chicago Tribune.
Johnson reports that the Bulls won't necessarily fill the vacant roster spot Rose's injury created with a guard, and says the team has had internal discussions about adding a big.
Rose's injury has left the team's backcourt thin, and while neither James, Pargo or Robinson are currently playing, the Bulls don't have many options after the trade deadline has passed. All three players have experience with the Bulls, with both Robinson and James having recently spent time with the organization.

James logged sparse minutes over 11 games with the Bulls a season ago, while Robinson - the youngest and most likely to make an impact - was with Chicago for the entire 2012-13 season.
Robinson, who was bought out by the Celtics in January following a trade from the Nuggets, struggled with his shot over 33 games with Denver, while averaging 14.6 points and six assists per 36 minutes. Pargo played 11 games with the Hornets before getting waived, while James hasn't played since last January.
At least for now, Kirk Hinrich and Aaron Brooks will be tasked with carrying the load at point with Rose sidelined. The organization is hopeful that the 2011 MVP, who is set to undergo his third knee surgery Friday, is able to return this season.
