PHOTO: Westbrook appears to suffer dent in face after taking a knee
Russell Westbrook is being evaluated for injury after taking a knee to the head in the final minute of Friday's loss to the Portland Trail Blazers.
The Oklahoma City Thunder point guard recorded his third consecutive triple-double in another monster effort, but it wasn't enough to power the Thunder to a win.
His performance was sensational, but it may have come at a cost. Westbrook appeared to take a knee to the face from teammate Andre Roberson while going for a rebound late in the game, and was in obvious pain afterward. It also looked like it put a dent in his face.

Here's the play in question, which came on a missed free throw from Westbrook with seconds left in the contest:
After the game, Westbrook didn't speak to the media, but the team said an official update would likely come on Saturday, according to Ben Golliver of SI.com.
There is some speculation that Westbrook may have fractured his zygomatic arch, something players have played through with a mask in the past. It's also possible the injury could require surgery.
The Thunder are scheduled to face the Los Angeles Lakers on Sunday.
