VIDEO: Josh Smith taunts Hawks fans after sinking lucky 3-pointer

Houston Rockets forward Josh Smith is enjoying his return to Atlanta.

After nailing a fluky 3-pointer on Tuesday, Smith silenced the crowd, much to the ire of Hawks fans.

Smith spent nine seasons with the Hawks after they drafted him 17th overall in 2004. To start, Smith was a beloved player and a highlight machine, but his deteriorating athleticism and overzealous jumpshooting eventually led the Hawks to allow Smith to walk in free-agency.

Smith has flourished after signing with the Rockets this season. Smith is averaging 11.7 points, 6.1 rebounds and 2.7 assists per game while shooting 32.3 percent from deep.
