VIDEO: Cavs' Perkins hit with flagrant for shot on Crowder
There's some bad blood brewing between the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Boston Celtics.
Not long after Kevin Love left Sunday's Game 4 playoff matchup with a shoulder injury some believe Kelly Olynyk caused, the Cavs' Kendrick Perkins set a hard pick on Jae Crowder.
Crowder has been pressing LeBron James on defense, and prior to this play, Perkins had played just two minutes in the series.
Perhaps the move was just an example of the "championship DNA" James claimed Perkins possesses.
The veteran was lucky to stay the game - he received a flagrant-1, with double technical fouls for he and Crowder for the extracurriculars that followed.
Later, former NBA VP and disciplinarian Stu Jackson suggested that Perkins should have received a flagrant-2 for the shot.
