VIDEO: Game 4 of Clippers-Spurs being played in Lob City
The gentrification of Lob City has been grossly overstated.
It still looks just as everyone remembers it, and it happens to be hosting Game 4 of the first-round playoff series between the Los Angeles Clippers and San Antonio Spurs.
To wit, Jamal Crawford and DeAndre Jordan took up residence there in the second quarter Sunday, with Crawford floating a pass that only Jordan could reach. He doesn't exactly make mistakes with those kind of feeds.
And in case anyone ever wanted to know how unprepared a defense feels, or how violated the rim must feel, here's an alternate angle with Jordan sliding into the frame for the finish.
The Clippers trail the series 2-1 and it was thought they could be in trouble on the road in Game 4. If they can continue to turn Texas into Lobtropolis, they may be OK just yet.
