NBA Finals: Curry and LeBron continue to trade impossible buckets (VIDEO)
This is incredible.
In Game 5 of a terrific NBA Finals series, two of the best players in the world are going head-to-head, shot-for-shot, bucket-for-bucket. The four-time MVP and two-time champion up against the reigning MVP looking for his first ring. The Best in the World against The Patron Saint of Underdogs. Goliath and a David-adjacent Goliath.
LeBron James and Steph Curry have been battling back and forth all game, and they've saved the best for the fourth quarter. James is out there hitting insane left-handed layups against one of the best wing defenders in the world:
While Curry is just torching players off the dribble and sinking daggers:
James had a statistical edge on Curry for the the game and for the series, but there are few nits to pick on either side when two of the best in the world are going toe-to-toe. And Curry's got the more important edge with his Golden State Warriors now the owners of a 3-2 series lead over the Cleveland Cavaliers.
This series has been amazing.
