Curry picks up surfboard for Best Male Athlete at Teen Choice Awards
Awards season generally falls at the end of the winter months, but hey, it's August and not much is going on. Enter the Teen Choice Awards - an event where teenagers vote on the year's biggest achievements in music, movies, sports, and other things.
At the ceremony Sunday night, NBA champion Stephen Curry of the Golden State Warriors walked away with "Choice Male Athlete."
The Baby-Faced Assassin once again got the better of LeBron James in the awards department, as Curry beat out LBJ, Tom Brady, Cristiano Ronaldo, and the horse American Pharoah for the honor. WWE's The Bella Twins took home Choice Female Athletes.
Curry's reward is that impressive surfboard.
Other surfboards given out Sunday included band One Direction for "Choice Selfie Taker".
