The Atlanta Hawks signed point guard Edgar Sosa, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution's Chris Vivlamore reports.
The 27-year-old from the Dominican Republic played four years at Louisville where he averaged 9.7 points, 1.8 rebounds, and 2.8 assists.
As a junior in 2009, Sosa helped lead the Cardinals to the Elite Eight, where they fell to Michigan State.
He suited up for the Detroit Pistons' Summer League in 2010 before heading overseas to play in various Italian and German leagues for four years.
Sosa's main competition for a spot on the Hawks' regular season roster will likely be DeQuan Jones, who recently signed a similar non-guaranteed deal.
