Frustrated Durant wants to play every game, explains he's not 'a 19-year vet'
Kevin Durant is miffed at the media again.
When the Oklahoma City Thunder superstar was asked about his team's upcoming stretch of four games in five nights, he provided a rather frustrated response:
I'm really tired of ya'll talking to me like I'm a 19-year vet. I was out a year. Not even a whole year. I'm alright. I can play those minutes. It's not like I'm struggling the next day. I want to play every minutes. But I can't do that. I feel great enough to play as much as coach wants me to play. But I'm not 39 years old.
This isn't the first time Durant has snapped at reporters, as the 27-year-old infamously took aim at the media during the 2015 All-Star Weekend with a colorful tirade, attacking sports journalists' knowledge of the game.
The six-time All-Star - who was the picture of health and durability prior to his 2014-15 injury woes - said in August he was able to "go 100 percent."
