Bucks' Bayless, Mayo start vs. Hornets in place of Parker, Carter-Williams
The 6-10 Milwaukee Bucks have lost five of their last six games, prompting head coach Jason Kidd to tweak his starting lineup.
Jerryd Bayless and O.J. Mayo will replace Micahel Carter-Williams and Jabari Parker in the team's first unit on Sunday.
Bayless is averaging a career-high 12.2 points per game, while shooting a blistering 48.7 percent from long distance and dishing out 3.5 assists.
Mayo - who has missed all but five games this season - will contribute his 7.2 points, 2.6 rebounds and two dimes. Despite his current 26.9 three-point shooting clip, Mayo does have the ability to space the floor (37.6 percent for his career), and will help the likes of Khris Middleton, Giannis Antetokounmpo, and Greg Monroe get open shots.
The move comes after his team's inconsistent efforts and losing ways resulted in Kidd taking out his frustration on a referee Wednesday night, earning the bench boss a one-game suspension.
