Harrison Barnes' return to Warriors' lineup doubtful Monday vs. Kings
The Golden State Warriors will likely have to suspend their anticipation even further when in comes to the return of Harrison Barnes.
The fourth-year small forward is listed as doubtful for Monday's contest versus the Sacramento Kings, according to the San Francisco Chronicle's Rusty Simmons.
Barnes was previously expected to rejoin his team after a then-11-game absence for a Christmas Day matchup against 2015 Finals foes, the Cleveland Cavaliers. Barnes' return was ultimately postponed.
He has not played since Nov. 27 - a game in which the UNC alumnus suffered a sprained ankle.
When healthy, Barnes has been used as the starting small forward in his team's ultra-efficient "small ball" scheme. The versatile 23-year-old offers a unique skill set to the 28-1 Dubs, boasting averages of 13.4 points, five rebounds and 0.9 steals.
