Chicago Bulls point guard Derrick Rose left Tuesday's loss against the Milwaukee Bucks with a left knee injury.
Rose logged 22 minutes and scored nine points on nine shots before exiting in the second half with a strained patellar tendon.
He played down the injury after the game, and Bulls head coach Fred Hoiberg said he would be re-evaluated Wednesday.
Given Rose's lengthy injury history, there will always be caution when it comes to his knees. He tore the ACL in his left knee in 2012, forcing him to miss the remainder of the 2012-13 season.
The 27-year-old is averaging 14.9 points and 4.9 assists in 31 appearance for Chicago this season. He has already battled a fractured orbital bone and a pulled hamstring.
