Report: Several NBA teams looking at Michael Beasley
"Super Cool Beas" may not be done yet.
Former No. 2 pick Michael Beasley, who's spent the season in the Chinese Basketball Association, is being tracked by "a clutch of NBA teams," ESPN's Marc Stein reported Tuesday.
Beasley is putting up 31.9 points, 13.2 rebounds, 3.8 assists, and two steals in 36.5 minutes per game for the Shandong Golden Stars.
His star grew even brighter after he took center stage at the CBA All-Star Game by dropping 63 points, 19 rebounds, and 13 assists to take home MVP honors.
The 27-year-old, however, has struggled in his later NBA stints. Most recently, Beasley returned to the Miami Heat and put up 8.8 points per game on an abysmal true-shooting percentage of 47.4.
Beasley is undeniably gifted, though, and just about every team in the league could use a 6-foot-9 forward with range and ball-handling abilities.
