Despite all the cryptic tweets, the dramatic unfollowing of the Cavaliers, and reports of him wanting to create his own superteam, LeBron James still believes that Cleveland is set to make a title run this spring.

"I feel like we're ready to make a championship run," said James to Joe Vardon of cleveland.com on Saturday. "I'm confident in this team and I know we can make a championship run, and that's all you can ask for."

Even with all the controversy, the Cavaliers remain atop the Eastern standings, holding a two-and-a-half game lead over the Toronto Raptors. Cleveland remains a heavy favorite to win the conference, according to ESPN's BPI, but would likely face the Warriors or Spurs in a potential Finals matchup - two teams well above the Cavaliers in the standings.

"I haven't really thought about last year," James added. "I think it's not factual to think about what happened last year. My concern, I don't like to use the word concern because then everybody think it's like a problem. My only thought now and my preparation is getting these guys prepared to make a long run in the postseason."
