Onetime Golden State Warriors head coach-turned broadcaster Mark Jackson, working Sunday's Thunder-Rockets game for ABC, offered his thoughts on D'Angelo Russell's misadventures in video recording a confidential conversation with Los Angeles Lakers teammate Nick Young.
“The good news for (D’Angelo Russell) is that he could very well one day be an Associate Head Coach in this league.” - Mark Jackson

WHAT
Jackson is referring to a situation two years ago when the Warriors fired assistant coach Darren Erman reportedly because he was taping team conversations without consent. Erman landed on his feet in positions with the Boston Celtics and now the New Orleans Pelicans, although it is unknown if he still employs Richard Nixon-style cataloging habits.
Within a month of Erman's dismissal, Jackson himself was fired, opening the door for Steve Kerr to take the reins and help lead the Warriors to an NBA championship the following season.
