Smith to serve as Division I men's basketball chair

Indianapolis, IN (Sports Network) - The NCAA announced on Tuesday that Gene Smith, the current associate vice president and athletics director at Ohio State, has been named chair of the Division I Men's Basketball Committee for the 2010-11 academic year.

Butler/Georgetown, Indiana/Pittsburgh comprise Jimmy V Classic

New York, NY (Sports Network) - Butler will face Georgetown, and Indiana will take on Pittsburgh in the matchups for this year's Jimmy V Classic, to be held at Madison Square Garden on December 8.
