Yale star guard Makai Mason will remove himself from consideration for the 2016 NBA Draft and return to school for his junior year, according to ESPN's Jeff Goodman.
Mason decided to test his draft stock after a standout performance in the NCAA tournament against Baylor, which propelled him onto several mock drafts. Mason was virtually unstoppable in his 31-point outing versus the Bears, though he came back down to earth in the Round of 32 against Duke, where he managed just eight points.
Overall, the 6-foot-1 guard put up 16 points and 3.8 assists per game for the Bulldogs last year. His return should give Yale an edge in the Ivy League next season.
