Kansas fans storm field after beating FCS opponent Rhode Island
When a team goes over a year without a victory, the fans are going to celebrate when the losing streak finally comes to an end, regardless of the opponent.
That's exactly what happened in Kansas on Saturday, when the Jayhawks topped Rhode Island of the FCS 55-6.

It was the first victory for Kansas since Nov. 8, 2014, putting an end to a 15-game losing streak. The fact that it came against a team that went 1-10 in the FCS last season didn't deter the fans one bit.

Kansas fans weren't the only ones celebrating the end of a lengthy losing streak Saturday. After going 0-12 last season, UCF started 2016 with a 38-0 victory over South Carolina State.
