Here are theScore's outfielder value rankings for Friday, April 15:

Top Options
NAME | OPPONENT | VALUE |
---|---|---|
Bryce Harper (WAS) | at PHI | 9 |
Mike Trout (LAA) | at MIN | 9 |
Giancarlo Stanton (MIA) | vs. ATL | 8 |
Hanley Ramirez (BOS) | vs. TOR | 8 |
Starling Marte (PIT) | vs. MIL | 8 |
Jose Bautista (TOR) | at BOS | 8 |
Pay up for Harper, Trout or Stanton in cash games. Ramirez fared well against the Blue Jays' RHP staff this season, going 6-for-14 with three RBI, a double and a triple. He could replicate that performance at home. Like Ramirez, Bautista has had early season success against the Red Sox with two home runs and four RBI. They both can be safely rostered in all DFS formats.

Mid-Tier Targets
NAME | OPPONENT | VALUE |
---|---|---|
Mookie Betts (BOS) | vs. TOR | 7 |
Mark Trumbo (BAL) | at TEX | 7 |
Brock Holt (BOS) | vs. TOR | 7 |
Yasiel Puig (LAD) | vs. SF | 7 |
Christian Yelich (MIA) | vs. ATL | 7 |
Hunter Pence (SF) | at LAD | 7 |
Matt Kemp (SD) | vs. ARI | 7 |
Jason Heyward (CHC) | vs. COL | 7 |
Carlos Gonzalez (COL) | at CHC | 7 |
Kemp is a terrific contrarian option against Diamondbacks' RHP and ace Zack Greinke -- who has struggled mightily his first two starts -- has been battling the flu and is said to be back to full health. Yelich is well protected in the Marlins lineup and is likely to continue run producing position batting ahead of Stanton.

NAME | OPPONENT | VALUE |
---|---|---|
Andrew McCutchen (PIT) | vs. MIL | 6 |
Delino DeShields (TEX) | vs. BAL | 6 |
Ben Zobrist (CHC) | vs. COL | 6 |
George Springer (HOU) | at DET | 6 |
David Peralta (ARI) | at SD | 6 |
Angel Pagan (SF) | at LAD | 6 |
Nelson Cruz (SEA) | at NYY | 6 |
Colby Rasmus (HOU) | vs. DET | 6 |
Nomar Mazara (TEX) | vs. BAL | 6 |
Brett Gardner (NYY) | vs. SEA | 6 |
Cruz has the power to go deep at Yankees Stadium but has more often than not failed to return value. He's more fitted as a contrarian. Springer and Rasmus both favor RHP and face Tigers' righty Mike Pelfrey. They boast value in cash games.

NAME | OPPONENT | VALUE |
---|---|---|
Yoenis Cespedes (NYM) | at CLE | 5 |
Adam Eaton (CWS) | at TB | 5 |
Stephen Piscotty (STL) | vs. CIN | 5 |
Michael Saunders (TOR) | at BOS | 5 |
Justin Upton (DET) | at HOU | 5 |
Adam Jones (BAL) | at TEX | 5 |
Billy Burns (OAK) | vs. KC | 5 |
Lorenzo Cain (KC) | at OAK | 5 |
Cespedes is far too expensive, but he could explode in any game. Use him in tournaments, but buyer beware. Upton faces a tough matchup when the Astros send reigning AL CY Young winner, LHP Dallas Keuchel to the mound.

Nothing to See Here
NAME | OPPONENT | VALUE |
---|---|---|
Curtis Granderson (NYM) | at CLE | 4 |
Ryan Braun (MIL) | at PIT | 4 |
Jacoby Ellsbury (NYY) | vs. SEA | 4 |
Denard Span (SF) | at LAD | 3 |
Jay Bruce (CIN) | at STL | 3 |
Carlos Gomez (HOU) | at DET | 3 |
Gomez will break out of his early-season slump at some point in the near future, but he's not worth paying up for on Friday. Despite a five-RBI performance on Opening Day, Span's price is too high because he lacks home run upside.
