United States Under-18 international Kyle Scott has requested a transfer from Chelsea amid interest from clubs across the continent.

Scott joined the Blues from Southampton as an Under-10 and has since proved an exciting prospect in midfield, playing a pivotal role in Chelsea winning the UEFA Youth League in consecutive seasons. He has also represented England at the under-16 level and Ireland's Under-17s.

Compatriot Matt Miazga joined from the New York Red Bulls in January and Scott only agreed to a contract extension until 2019 last February, but ESPN FC's Peter O'Rourke understands he has requested an exit from the reigning Premier League champion.

Chelsea is making efforts to see more progression from the youth academy and into the first team. Ruben Loftus-Cheek has made great strides with the senior squad this term, but the route for highly-rated forward Dominic Solanke could be reaching its end after the player apparently made exorbitant wage demands.
