Top Options
NAME | OPPONENT | VALUE |
---|---|---|
Nolan Arenado (COL) | at ARI | 9 |
Josh Donaldson (TOR) | at TB | 8 |
Arenado gets the top spot because of favorable hitting conditions. Arizona's Chase Field is one the best hitter's ballparks, while SP Shelby Miller has surrendered all six of his homers at home this season.
Mid-Tier Targets
NAME | OPPONENT | VALUE |
---|---|---|
Miguel Sano (MIN) | vs. DET | 7 |
Todd Frazier (CWS) | at BAL | 7 |
Javier Baez (CHC) | vs. ATL | 6 |
Martin Prado (MIA) | at MIL | 6 |
David Freese (PIT) | vs. CIN | 6 |
Manny Machado (BAL) | vs. CWS | 6 |
Nick Castellanos (DET) | at MIN | 6 |
Eduardo Nunez (MIN) | vs. DET | 6 |
Eugenio Suarez (CIN) | at PIT | 6 |
Frazier is a home run-dependent fantasy option so reserve him for tournament play. His matchup against SP Ubaldo Jimenez in Baltimore does increase the chance for a long ball, though.
Prado had three straight three-hit games leading into Saturday. With a favorable setting in Milwaukee, Prado and preceding hitters Christian Yelich and Giancarlo Stanton could be in for a big day.
Machado rarely falls even this low, but a matchup against LHP Chris Sale is intimidating.

Travis Shaw (BOS) | vs. NYY | 5 |
Adrian Beltre (TEX) | vs. LAA | 5 |
Evan Longoria (TB) | vs. TOR | 5 |
Derek Dietrich (MIA) | at MIL | 5 |
Jake Lamb (ARI) | vs. COL | 5 |
Mike Moustakas (KC) | vs.SEA | 4 |

Matt Carpenter (STL) | vs. WAS | 4 |
Anthony Rendon (WAS) | at STL | 4 |
Jose Ramirez (CLE) | at PHI | 4 |

Alex Rodriguez (NYY) | at BOS | 4 |
Justin Turner (LAD) | vs. SD | 4 |
Adonis Garcia (ATL) | at CHC | 4 |
Chris Coghlan (OAK) | vs. HOU | 4 |
Seager and Carpenter have both disappointed this year and though their salaries have fallen, neither can be confidently rostered.
A-Rod has been better of late but a matchup against David Price limits his ascending value.
